I live a life tucked between quiet moments, the barn, kid-filled chaos and the soft thud of goat hooves. My goats are more than animals to me-they're part of the rhytm of my days, grounding me, humbling me, and teaching me things I didn't know I needed to learn. They remind me that life doesn't have to be loud to be meaningful, and that joy often arrives in small, unexpected bursts.

I’ve always been someone who notices things.
A shift in the light.
A feeling I can’t quite name.
The way a moment changes me before I even understand why.

For years, I tucked those thoughts away — in journals, half-finished stories, scattered notes, the margins of my mind. But eventually, they grew into something that needed a place to breathe. That’s how this blog was born: out of a desire to gather all the pieces of my life and lay them down gently, with honesty and intention.

Here you’ll find a mix of everything that makes me who I am:

Personal reflections on the messy, beautiful, complicated parts of being human.
Stories and fiction sparked by stray ideas that won’t leave me alone.
Memoir threads from moments that shaped me.
Faith-filled thoughts, not from a place of perfection but from a place of searching,  and seriously and even ridicoulsy stumbling, and finding grace anyway.
Goat stories, because somehow they always manage to wander into my heart — and my writing.

I’m not here to teach you how to live your life.
I’m here to share how I’m learning to live mine — slowly, intentionally, imperfectly, and often with a goat tugging at my shirt

I believe grace shows up long before we do.
In the stories we tell.
In the ones we’re afraid to tell.
In the quiet rooms of the heart where healing starts.
In the barn
In the mess.
In the becoming.
